Set your table very fancy with paper doilies, a nice teapot, cups and saucers. Invite the faeries to your tea party and use your best manners and quiet voices so you won't frighten them away. Pour a little tea for the faeries in thimbles or acorn cups. Pour some for yourself and your friends. Sprinkle with lots of colored sugar and float a few flowers in your cup. Toast the faeries and drink up! Enjoy your Faery Tea Party! * some edible flowers: rose petals, geraniums. violas, johnny-jump-ups, nastertiums, lavender blossoms. Be sure an adult helps you choose your edible flowers. Some flowers are poison!!

Make a batter of sugar cookies. Add a couple of tablespoons of rose water, You can buy this in the supermarket. At the very end carefully fold in a handful of washed rose petals. Stir three times and say "Rosey Posey Faery Dew, Make my Fairest dreams come true." Bake for as long as it says in your recipe. Serve to people you love and have them make a wish before eating.

Midsummer Marigold Mush Use your favorite oatmeal and stir up a pot. Add some washed marigold petals, mandarin orange slices (canned is okay), raisins, and almonds. Eat just before the sun goes down and sit by the window and watch for faeries.

Faeries Favorite Flan Use a package of instant vanilla pudding. Add the following ingredients: one pinch of cinnamon thrown in the bowl from behind your left shoulder, one red cherry, a dash of brown sugar, seven rose petals..while you put these in you must recite the days of the week backwards. Whosoever gets the portion with the red cherry shall reign as Queen or King of the Faeries until the next morning.

Wish Kebobs Cut up a bunch of fruit into 1" cubes. Try any kind of melon, apples, pears, peaches or nectarines. Also use whole fruit like grapes and strawberries. Using wooden or metal skewers, thread the fruit onto the skewers. You can also add cubes of cheese which are yummy with fruit. Make a wish and eat! You'll wish you had made lots more!
